On Par with the green snake and above the purple snake. This season isn't over, but could really use Smith back to steal a game or 5 down the stretch.

I feel like the snake is in that period of a WWE fight when the heel seems to be winning, and the hero is flittering about dazed and confused, looking like he'll walk right into the setup of the heel's finishing move. Might that be an upcoming oilers game? I sure hope the snake is able to pull out the surprise turnaround!
Just got hit in the face with a chair. He's reeling!
I am one with the Snake and the Snake is with me,

Not good news for the snake in the last two games. In the first contest a win would have put the red snake back above the black line. It now sits 3.098 points below the black line, 1 point below the purple snake, and 3 points below the green snake. The purple snake wins its next 4 games, while the green snake goes 2-1-1 in its next 4 matches. The red snake needs to turn it on. It will take 4 straight wins to get above the black line. If that happens it would be tied with the green snake, 1 point back of the purple snake, and would have a chance to move above them both in the 5th game, as they both lose that one.
The red snake is on pace for 92 points. It needs 23 points in the last 17 games to hit 96 points on the season. That's a 111 point pace with an 11-5-1 record. If the Flames win 2 games and lose 1 for 5 cycles in a row, and then get 3 points in the last two games, they hit 96 points.

The Oilers officially can officially only reach a maximum of 96 points this season. Unfortunately for them there are still 19 games left to play, including tonight's game against Nashville.
Currently:
If the Oilers go on a 19 game win streak and reach 96 points:

Just checked the standings. Flames are 4 points back of LA
With 16 games to play. That isnt a great spot to be in, and the way they are playing is not inspiring, but it is not over yet.

And we have a game against L.A. still. Win that, and we have to make up 2 points. Lose that, and that’s the season.
16 games to go = 32 possible points
73 points now = 23 points required to reach 96
32 possible points minus 23 points required = 9 points can be "lost" along the way
Four regulation losses is close to a death sentence if there are OT losses in there too. Five regulation losses and the fat lady sings.

Does this look at all like a team that can win 12/16 games at gut check time?
