All of a sudden it's the Dodgers who can't produce any offense. Astros seem to have found theirs at the right time.

TSN says he can play in remainder of the WS but suspended first five games of 2018. Chicken#### move.

Good to see MLB is pro racism. Absolutely unacceptable. I expect that kind of blatant corruption in the NFL but I thought baseball wouldn't stoop that low. At least now that Selig is gone anyway.

Not sure which is more digusting, the original racist gesture or the condoning of it.

What a lousy message to send. Yes this is bad, but we don't want to take this player out of the game right now?
A 1-2 game suspension effective immediately would have some bite. I'm guessing the appeal process may be why it's delayed till next season. Not enough time to do a hearing?
Either way really poor. I hope Houston fans aren't too friendly to Gurriel tonight.

The league said they didn’t want to punish the rest of the Astros for his actions. Well too freaken bad.

No suspension for the World Series is almost as disgusting as the gesture itself. It would have been easy to do one playoff game plus 5 next season. There is no way the PA would have appealed. Such a gutless decision.

Just saw Commish news conference. Looked like a guy who knew he should feel shame. That or he had a gun pointed at him.

It really is a gutless move. How they could explain that one away is quite the embarrassment. The message it would send into the future is simply, "be a good teammate at all times or you could cost your team when it matters most". To do this says that they only thought about the ramifications of the game today, and they didn't want to play a part in the World Series. It's just simply a selfish reason. Corporate responsibility at its finest.

Was that Ted Cruz sitting behind home plate? Game 4 is huge in the 7 game series. 2-2 vs 3-1 for Dodgers.

Hinch has been pushing all the right buttons and then seemingly went against his recent approach by putting in Giles instead of sticking with a guy who’s pitching well. Big mistake as he brought a gas can to the mound with him.
Lots of boos for Gurriel in the stadium. Pretty disappointed in him.

Even a one game suspension for last night would have been respected. Instead, MLB took the coward's way out.

This has five hour game written all over it. Should have probably let Kershaw work his way out of it.

Springer sure redeemed himself after that dumb play to give the Dodgers the lead.
