He will be on the roster, but in the press box if he doesn't pick it up.

Yeah Kulak has made a good impression. Andersson invisible in the right way. I haven't noticed any real problems with Wotherspoon but there's been a lot going on and a lot of players to watch.
Välimäki clearly not ready for this level yet, but I still really the potential.

All of the D range from looking pretty overwhelmed to pretty mediocre.
Which is to be expected. None of the D playing into today's game are slated to be more than 5/6 D this up coming season. Further to that, they're pretty much playing against a full roster Jets team, so it's completely understandable that they're overwhelmed.
With that said, I think Kulak has looked the most composed given the circumstances, which is pretty much all you can ask for in a game like this.

The concourse in the MTS Centre looks as packed as the Saddledome concourse during breaks.

This is kind of why I hate how the preseason goes. Put Lazar with nhl lineages to see if there's a fit. Putting him on a line of hopefuls and grinders isn't a good indicator of whether he'll be effective.

Yeesh Lack. I'd rather see him beat from the slot while he leans towards his right side anticipating Laine's shot.

Our PK really sucks in this game. I don’t think we’ve actually cleared the puck more than once in the three attempted kills so far.

Once again, Laine with no white shirt within 15 feet of him.

I'd put money on him making the NHL this year. Out of camp in fact. Anyway I thought he looked better that period. More physical and assertive.
In other news: if only Monahan was skilled, eh? Haven't like Bart or Kulak and despite his gaffe, I thought Wotherspoon was steadier overall. Foo is just a little late with his decisions. Lomberg is a little ball of hate. Lack seems a little slow in his cross crease moves.
No mention from the Jets crew about how Calgary is playing only 3 full time players from last year.

I doubt this Flames lineup has much if any PK time in games. It's all prospects save a few vets.
Boy does it show.

He's had more than enough opportunity with NHL players.
Hate to break it to you also but he's a hopeful and a grinder and an AHLer. He needs to go and earn a spot.

Don't think you can really blame Lack too much on any of those goals

Can't watch this game, but it's sure nice to read all the comments about Lomberg. He's been such a star at the Penticton tourney the past couple of years, I'm glad he's getting a long look. He's one of those guys that, if he ever makes it, he'll have earned it through pure sandpaper and will.
I'd love to see him on the 4th line.
