But honestly, not MHXX, Pokken, Arms or Pokemon. I'll most likely get FIFA 18 at some point - because I love the soccer minigame in Mario Sports Superstars - but not at $80 as I don't expect to play much online, so full price wouldn't be worth it to me.

it wasn't a joke...I think to say Nintendo has six day one purchases is a bit of a stretch...or a massive stretch considering what they have shown so far.

You are obviously a huge fan of Nintendo which is great, pretty subjective though to say they WON E3 with that lineup. Missing some MASSIVE heavy hitters the other consoles have.

I've been the Comic Expo in Calgary, SDCC, PAX, Blizzcon, etc. Ultimately it's not that bad. You pick and choose and go see what you like. Some people go hardcore and line up overnight for things like Hall H. Some people will line up to play a game that will be released shortly. But a lot of these things have things going on directly on the show floor and lots of stuff outside in the area as well. Many things are streamable online now too.

But to be fair, I have also had early/behind the scenes access too that does help skew my view too though.

Haha, so stupid Walmart. I bought the Mario pre-order for $49.95. It said "add something to get over $50 for free shipping". So I added toothpaste for $1.50, because it was all I could think of at the time. I expected it to come with my order in October, so surprise toothpaste would be nice! But no. They shipped it separately, arrived today. So not only did they not get me to pay shipping, they are eating it twice, on 2 shipments, probably both sold at a loss. You would think someone there would have figured out this is not the way to make money.

Online orders! Complicated stuff.

Nothing about it being enhanced/upgraded to 60FPS in the future. I would be shocked if Bungie doesn't offer an update to allow 4k 60FPS on consoles for Destiny 2 eventually.

A lot of talk that with the Destiny timed exclusives, Activision is keeping parity on the consoles rather than having an edge for XBX. Sigh, I guess it would not surprise me at all.

Looks like Metroid Prime 4 is not being developed by Retro:

The game’s fact sheet says that it development is being led by Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe with a “talented new development team.” That sounds like it’s not Retro Studios.

Interesting. If that is the case I wonder why they would continue with the "prime" title, seems like it would be a good opportunity to stat something fresh.
