Kesler kept his hand on his stick. Didn't change position at all. Didn't reach for Talbot's pad. He was knocked into Talbot, and then Nurse's stick and body were holding Kesler's stick on the ice. Kesler couldn't have moved his stick, and hand, if he wanted to.
