Flames should have never been in that situation but still the stick is way high...Flames got absolutely screwed AGAIN!

Elliott was BRUTAL though

remember we also have to give up a 3rd rounder to bring him back

Sometimes I wonder if Gulutzan is even awake behind the bench can't he see when Elliott is fighting with himself? For #### sake man everyone in the arena but you realizes what's going on.

I'm very tempted to eat my ticket for game 4 and not go. Like how does one get excited after your team pulled off the biggest choke job in Flames history

At this point my only hope is the ducks are flying home on United and the flight is overbooked...

Have been a flames fan too long to be shocked...despondent, but not shocked.

That one hurt really bad.

Ferland, Bennett, Monahan, Chaisson, Versteeg...so many people have stepped up. Bouma, Brouwer and Stajan are also playing amazing. Giordano has been a bright spot for the D. I feel bad because you can tell there are some warriors on this team, and they deserve a much better fate.

We dominated the Ducks tonight.
We played better than them last night.
This team is on the verge of becoming a top contender in my eyes, IF we get goaltending.
Terrible luck for the most part, terrible reffing and terrible goaltending is the only reasons it's not at least 2-1 Flames.

I doubt we win 4 in a row now, but the future is definitely bright and we're not even close to plateauing so it would be a bad time to stop watching IMO.

Hahahahaha wow.

The ducks had ZERO powerplays but its the refs fault still.

Our core is softer than puffs plus with lotion.

Was at the game tonight. This is by far the lowest I've ever felt as a Flames fan. I don't even have words right now.

I really can't agree. Any team that can make the playoffs can make a push like the Ducks had, which really wasn't that much. The Flames IMO did a good job limiting the Ducks offense. Elliott didn't have to make a single difficult save to win us that game.

When I said in the game thread Elliott can't give us 6 saves in OT, I didn't pull that number out of a hat. Elliotts performance since the game was 4-1:

5 saves, goal, 4 saves, goal, 4 saves, goal, 2 saves, goal.

He literally let in the first shot in OT, a bad angle shot from the boards with no screen. That's not on the team. The Flames were the better team tonight, and it wasn't close. This is on Elliott, and Gulutzan for not pulling Elliott.

Crawford. You could argue Anderson and Bobrovsky too.

The battle vs. Anaheim or Chicago thread I got shot down whenever I tried to explain why Anaheim was such a bad match up. But we drew them, so I'm trying to be as positive as possible yet it's one punch to the gut after the other. The worst part is you just know the Oilers are going to beat the Sharks and then the Ducks. It's just that kind of year.

Agreed. Your best players have to be playoff performers, and if the goal is to win the Stanley Cup, I'm starting to question whether you can do that with someone this soft. Anaheim got right into his head, and that group of apes can do it, someone else will.

It seems almost a sure fated thing that the Oilers will win several Cups now while the Flames go through a very heated relocation battle. Even more hurtful will be the fact the Flames won't win another playoff game until they leave in a couple to three years.

The best I can hope for at this point is that the flames win the next two in a row and at least get the curse off their backs. That's asking a lot but if they can do that I'll be less pissed
