If the Flames want to win this series, they need to keep this in mind:
"What would the Blackhawks do?"
Flames have been compared to the Blackhawks, it's time to play the Ducks like Chicago would.
Avoid the scrums, avoid the after whistle crap. Let the Ducks take the penalties and punish them on the powerplay.
Finish every check with authority, but as soon as the whistle goes, turn away from everything and go straight to the bench. This will drive Kesler, Bieksa, and Perry mad.
The only way to get a #### disturber off his game, is to not get disturbed.

Can I request one thing for this series? Can we put Anaheim Mighty Ducks on the game day threads? Seeing as that is what they were referred to when the Flames were last beating them in their building. Might be just a tiny bit of lucky juju that hasn't been tried.

Getzlaf was a great Hitmen and is still to this day actively involved with the team with his Getzlaf's Gamers charity work. Taking down his banner would be petty and classless.
Not a fan of having one of our biggest divisional rivals best player's name hanging in our rafters. Rafters should be reserved for NHL players not junior leagues. He was a great Junior player but I just don't like that he's up there, it's bad mojo. I highly respect Getzlaf but I still don't like that every time he comes to the dome he gets to look up and see his name in the rafters.

I think many will be surprised when Flames come back from Anaheim with a 2-0 lead.

I think you are correct that many will be surprised. It would be one of the greatest upsets in sports history, it is just not going to happen that way next week, perhaps in another playoff season soon.
Sorry,Ducks take it in five.

Where does one go to bet on individual playoff games? Games in Anaheim would be easy money betting on the Ducks, though I imagine the payoff would be quite small. But losing $100 if by some miracle the Flames actually won would be money well spent
Sounds like you're looking to risk picking up a few nickels in front of a steamroller base on a coincidental stat.
We've got Gio, Hamilton, Elliot, Tkachuk as difference makers since our last run against them. We also rocked them 8-3 this year in one of the 5games. Shoulda won the Apr 4th game too.

It will be an upset when the Flames came home with a 2-0 series lead, yes. But the greatest upset in sports history? Are you serious? We are not talking about Team Belarus beating Team Canada in the Gold Medal game in the Olympics.

Yep, the Flames and Ducks are separated by a measly 11 points in the standings. It would be an upset but no where near the greatest ever.

Maybe we need coach Bombay?
And no, the biggest "upset" in sports history was last year when Leicester city won BPL entering the season at an odds of 5000:1 after never having won it in 148 years. I can't think of any single sporting event that could possibly happen that would top that. The team seen the rise and fall of an empire, went through multiple wars and didn't go anywhere significagant until the year 2016.

This is hockey, upsets happen every year and this wouldn't even be a massive upset besides the fact that the Flames suck vs the Ducks. Anything is possible in the playoffs
Loss in 6 is the absolute minimum for an acceptable result. 1 game better than in 2015.
Loss in 7 would "I'm not even mad" point for me. Ducks are a very good team.
That's as far as I dare to dream at this point. Low expectations are good for the nerves.
If you live in Calgary and are complaining about an 830 start time, imagine being in Toronto and having to wait till 1030 to watch the game, if the game goes to overtime? Wow the next day will be hell at work.
I'll be up though the entire way, whether it ends in reg or goes to 4 OTs.
if you live in toronto an complain about a 10:30 start time, imagine if you´re from europe or asia....
anyway GO FLAMES GO, Flames in Six!!!
