Bennett got benched once after a tripping call where a guy skated over his stick after a faceoff.

Exactly our 4th line actually got scoring chances with him here and he was always a threat on the PK.

God bless Stajan talking about the playoff race, positive attitude. Akin to a Browns fan talking about the playoffs, but positive nonetheless.

There are 20 more games before Christmas. We play a few bad teams that could give us about 5 wins over that period.

I'm going to say this right now, if this team doesn't have more than 5 regulation wins in the remaining games before Christmas, I am going to start a petition to fire Gulutzan. I'm sure we can do a CP jihad if necessary.

Yep. That shift on San Jose I've posted a bunch of times summed his game up perfectly IMO. Out against the Thornton line, insane forechecking, stealing the puck constantly, hitting, creating chances, then changes leading to a beauty Hudler/Brodie goal against an exhausted San Jose line.

Edit: found my post in his re-signing thread.

Byron is an impact 4th line player on this team. His speed is legitimately disorienting and I believe his play has a big impact on the rest of the team.

Remember this shift vs SJ? Leads to the beautiful Hudler/Brodie goal.

Loved his play to start OT too:

And no one needs Chiasson . It's not trading Sieoff that hurts, if he was traded for $1 it would have been a better trade for us.

Thank god we dumped Byron in order to keep Brandon ####ING Bollig.
Agreed I always liked Byron and didn't like it when we gave him up.

Based on our current roster he'd easily be our hardest working player on a regular basis.

Just what the Rangers need - a power play. See how long it takes.
