I would expect that there will be a reward challenge with a immunity challenge advantage that will be hard for Adam to turn down. Usually those advantages can be significant and can almost be like an immunity idol. There's no way that they would give out that advantage without a devil's choice at some point.
Right now Adam is ahead in this game, he's made big moves, but I don't know how easy its going to be to sell his behavior to the jury.
Ken was a fool tonight, and screwed himself, he's now jury poison.

That "test" wasn't very good by Ken. He's lucky Adam played his idol. Really nice play by Adam. After the food situation with Taylor I thought he had no chance of winning a jury vote, but with what he did during the Family visit and his big move today I think he's back to being in contender status. But with how crazy this season has been it wouldn't surprise me if he was voted out next.
I was laughing at how animated Will was in his confessionals in this episode. Poor guy makes a big move and still gets the spotlight stolen from him.
Fwiw Adam playing his idol didn't matter in the end. Will voted for Zeke, so he was going home either way. My GF pointed that out to me. Adam could have kept the idol as Zeke was voted out 5-4.

I wonder how open they are about their votes after. If it wasn't just the edit and Jeff stopped at 3 votes then suddenly the big move switches from Will's vote to Adam's idol vote. Gives Adam the big play on this tribal and puts Will back in the corner. I'm sure they will talk about it and realize it was Zeke regardless but interesting to me how perception of the "big move" can switch.

Whether or not they needed Adam to play his idol it is still a huge move. It took balls to play it first off AND he was able to pick right. So yes, it was not necessary, but he can still own the move and add it to his resume.
Will is acting his age right now it seems, over emotional and playing a bit of the victim. He basically has zero chance to win this game, I would put him slightly above Sunday. I have a feeling next week he will over play himself right out of the game which is ideal for Adam and David as they can keep that target off their back for one more week.
Jess just seems like a fun loving good time, I would like to have shots with her at Ponderosa even just as buddies Until she starts talking about jesus and I have to jab needles into my ear drums.

Don't know if this was posted but Adam's mom died 2 days after the final Tribal. It makes the loved one scene where Adam completely breaks down pretty emotional
If I was playing that game I would tell my loved one that if they were coming out that there was no way I'm going to win that challenge, I'm going to throw it, because its the ultimate kiss of death reward as the people who don't get picked by the winner eventually become extremely bitter about it.
did anyone laugh at the use of the term fluffer and then Adam standing up and pulling an idol out of his pants. Maybe its just me, but that almost made me fall out of my easy chair.
When Adam used the Idol and really made Wills big move look not so big, I remembered the Simpson's episode where Homer became the hero and everyone praised the inanimate carbon rod. Will was literally that Rod last night, but at least there's some fluffers in camp.

Hrmm that link doesn't work right now CC, but that is brutal news. 2 days after final tribal, meaning he was hopefully able to get home before she passed?

Seems to me that was probably the best played pick and choose after a loved one challenge win. Very clear the reasons that made it difficult for anyone to have hard feelings.
While it ended up not being necessary to play the idol it was still an important play when it comes to how Adam, David and company thought that one out. Zeke's crew was trying do a bait and switch. It got sniffed out and by playing the idol for precisely for the correct person shows the jury who had the actual lay of the land over those couple of days.
Zeke's crew paid for past relationship mistakes last night....when you get down to these numbers you have to be very sure no one in your alliance feels strongly they are on the bottom (even if they actually are). Often we see an edit where we are left scratching our heads about how someone can't see they are at the bottom and not flipping. It's because they don't believe they are at the bottom. They screwed up with Will. He knew he was on the bottom and they made it clear with actions he was.
I expect next week we start to see a 3-3-2 type alliances and it'll get fun.
Was anyone else surprised by how salty Chris was towards Zeke in his (Zeke's) Ponderosa video? Maybe it's different for me, as I try to frame it in the "if I was playing" context, and I'd like to think that I'd always keep in mind it was a game, and I just got outplayed.
Its a game with a million dollars at stake, that's always going to create some salt, its why people lose their minds and become mega whiners on the jury.
You even could see that Jess was just seething on the jury.
They forget that this is a game and fixate on the prize.

You probably don't think about it till they show up, then you are quite upset, but it showed he came around eventually.
Can't believe finale is already next week. This season flew by.
Didn't like that Adam openly helped Ken the way he did in the challenge. It's just gonna be another reason why he's gonna have a tough time with the jury if he makes it to the end.
I'm glad David stayed. With him, Adam, and Jay there are a lot of potential winners left going into the finale. I thought early in the season it looked like Ken had a great chance of winning but he hasn't a lot of visibility lately. Jay and David are my favorites but I'd be fine with any of them winning though, except for maybe Bret.
I predict David wins in a final three with Ken and Hannah. Jay goes on an immunity run but just comes up short in 4th. I'm really interested to see what the Legacy advantage does.

With the double elimination epside, KevanGuy, Komskies and csnarpy join me on the bench
I wasn't expecting a double elimination episode, but I also think I lost track of the episodes in there, and was expecting one more before the finale next week. That's going to be a busy episode, even for a 2 hour one. Should also be some interesting fireworks at the reunion show.
I was happy to see Will go (I dunno, something about him just sits wrong with me, and I don't like him much. Probably his whiny actions the last handful of episodes). Was a bit surprised to see Sunday gone, but not too much. I was kind of expecting her to ghost through the game, be goat'ed into the Final 3, and not see a single vote. I was kind of wondering if Jay or David would have been able to take Sunday and Hannah with him for a sure-fire win into the Final 3, guess that's not happening.
I really liked both challenges this week. Both took some time and effort and skill to win. Very nice.
WTF was David doing throwing his discs with a backspin so that they wouldn't travel on the board? He seemed to do it the whole challenge. Weird. No wonder he didn't really get anywhere there.
I'm hoping that Jay makes it into the final 3, at least. I've been impressed by him all season.
I'm honestly not really sure who I want to see in a final 3. Jay, David and Adam, maybe, with the vote coming to a jury choice of David or Jay (I haven't really liked Adam's game for a while now). Bret's been too quiet. Hannah's been too stupid (That she felt she was making big moves when in fact she's been on the wrong end of just about every big move had me snickering during a confessional with her). I'm...not really sure where I stand on Ken. He's been impressively stolid all season...but hasn't really done anything of note.
The more I think on it, the more I think a Final 3 of Jay, David and Adam is my preference, with "would like to see them win" in that order, too.
Two hour finale next week! With the one hour reunion show! All Survivor, all night!
