If this tournament works, I could see it making the rounds in a bunch of major NHL cities.

Chicago gets to host a World Cup. New York. Los Angeles. Calgary. Vancouver. Maybe one of the ways Bettman gets new rinks pushed through is dangling a World Cup host city carrot within 8 years of completion.

I'd like to see it travel around the continent. It's an NHL spectacle, that has to be of more interest to fans in a local market than an All Star game.
