I must be missing the part where that has anything to do with being a whiney player/captain.
Also, if it's the hit I'm thinking of, I highly doubt that a player on the opposing team is concerned for anothers' cranial wellbeing after a clean (IMO) hard hit in the heat of the moment.

It wasn't in the heat of the moment. Backes was obviously concussed.
I'm just saying that Toews isn't superman poster boy like many make him out to be. He's a mouthpiece.

I'd be okay with an Ortio/Reimer tandem for a few years. I know a lot of people are hoping we have no familiar faces back in net but I'm not ready to give up on Ortio yet

Did it happen after the game? A period later? No. It happens directly after the fact, which means it was in the moment.
Toews is arguably the best captain in my opinion. Is he perfect? No. Giordano could be considered a mouthpiece. Same with Iggy. A good captain should be vocal.
