He won't be forgotten around here. Definitely one of the best posters on this board. I will genuinely miss his insights on a range of topics.

I think the thing I will remember about him the most is that anytime I posted something that was sort of a humble brag or kudos to myself, he would always thank the post or say congrats. He was the type of guy that seemed to really enjoy hearing of other people's successes and see them doing the things that made them happy.
He was one of those instant-click names. If I saw he was the last to post on a topic, it would be an instant click to see what he wrote.

What with kids and life and all, I'm much less involved here than I used to be (which I regret) but I totally recall in my time here that Phanuthier was a great member of our community... dare I say family.
RIP and commiserations to his family.

I haven't been around nearly as long as most of the "veterans" on CP. But I lurked for a little while before joining, and while I didn't know Phanuthier at all, his username has definitely been familiar to me.
RIP, Phanuthier, wherever you are. All of our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.

Phanuthier's mosticonic post has to be the thread asking for microwaves
Don't know if the thread still exists, but that's when I knew he was something special in the board.

RIP man. Condolences to the family, both at home and here on CP. I didn't know him well at all, outside of a few well thought out and balanced posts here. I can't believe how much this has effected me on a personal level.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Phanuthier for coming on here and talking to us. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be.

Ugh, very sad news.
Phanuthier was a big part of this board for a long time. Always seemed to thank my posts and me his, it seems we shared many of the same thoughts on the Flames throughout the years.
My condolences to his friends and family. Thank-you for posting Mrs. Phanuthier. I only knew him as a poster on CP, but reading this thread tells me he was a really good dude. Kind of crazy how much this news has upset me as I didn't actually know him, but he has been part of my life in a strange way as a part of this CP family for 14+ years.
RIP buddy, you are and will be missed.

Just saw this...wow. I only knew him briefly way back in the early 2000's when we had a part-time gig at the dome, always enjoyed his posts here though. RIP Eddie.

I had a similar experience the one time I met Phanuthier in person. He seemed like a solid dude.
This is so tragic. Condolences to his friends and family.
