It's really too bad - the majority of the team is playing ok. Monahan's line has been dangerous, Colborne'sline has been pretty aggressive.

I don't like that move by Ovie. Respect his talent, but not much of his personality.

He absolutely is, no question.
Sure he's young, but he's had experience playing in Boston too. It's not like he should be rattled by pressure -- they pressure their players there too.
Not what I was expecting.

Nope,not at all.
3 on 2. Hamilton took the guy in the middle and left Ramon with the outside shot.
100% on Ramo

Someone should have decked Ovechkin for that.

That's why I said "as well". Ask yourself what Kris Russell would have done there. Ovi has an absolute laser, so surely the last thing you want is to open it up for him and invite him to have a shot?
Don't get me wrong, Ramo has to take a lot of the blame, but I'm sorry, Hamilton made a bad play as well. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

How do the guys let Ovi do that? Big indicator of the intensity of this team. And not in a good way

There are positives in this game. Things to build on.
But it's becoming starkly obvious Brad needs to deal with the goalie situation immediately. As in before next game.

Why is it that anytime this team gets more talented and skilled, the worse they seem to play? We've had two successful seasons in the last 12 years, both were with less talented, blue collar, hard-working teams. Hamilton and Frolik come here in the off season, instantly making us a more skilled and dangerous team on paper...and they come out and crap the bed for 6 straight games. Whatever spark/compete level these guys had at the end of last year seems to have completely disappeared, and that concerns me.
