I kind of hate when they call it this early. I get that the news outlets want to be first but I feel like it paints a poor picture.

They complain nobody votes but hard for ppl to think "every vote matters" when you call an election when the majority of the country hasn't even had their vote counted yet.

I always thought two leaders would step down after this election, I didn't think it'd be tonight. The NDP will be having a much worse night than the CPC, though they'll both be in the wilderness for a while now.

I think the NDP core needs to be honest with itself and realize that the relative recent success of the party was largely because it acted like a place to drop Liberal protest votes and was a Liberal placeholder until they could get their stuff together.

I am not saying that the NDP isn't a good party or that having that voice in parliament is bad, but I don't think they were ever as popular as their number of seats suggested. Mulcair is going to get a lot of the blame, but I don't think that is totally fair.

Balanced budget, niqab, senate, clarity act, creepy tom.
Just too many mistakes

Just May wins her seat. She's like a gnat at a dinner party.

They shouldn't even be reporting ridings until 10% of the polls have reported. Showing numbers when 1 of 192 polls have reported is, frankly, embarrassing.

Canadians voted Liberal today because last night the Colts showed us that having everyone shift to the right just makes you look super dumb.
