That clip on sportsnet reminded me of how I felt when Stroman got hurt - that the season was pretty much over for the Jays.

Now here he is, about to hit the mound with a chance to give the Jays a stranglehold on the division

Amazing

Since his slow start at the plate going hitless in 13 at bats Ben Revere is hitting .417 since aug 9th and .328 overall as a Jay

He is a scary good player who because of the other trades doesn't get talked about enough.

So if someone told you that Tulo would leave the game in the 2nd, the Jays would spot the Yankees a 4-1 lead, and Donaldson would go 0 for 5, what do you think their chances of winning would be?

Those five should be able to do it provided Stroman doesn't get hooked early... and even if he does they can always get Buehrle in there in lieu of his next start if need absolutely be.

Stroman wears #6? That looks weird.

Happy to see Pillar is riding the pine for this game. He was horrible at the plate the first half of the double header.

Josh Towers used to wear number 7. He sucked, pitchers should wear double digits. Hopefully Stroman pitches better than Towers today.

Since July 28th, the Yankees have lost 21 games. The Jays have lost 9.

They burned 20 pitches on that guy. That'll help lessen the duration he'll be able to go.
