That rule was changed after Dallas won the Cup after a non call for Hall being in the crease. So ya your about 15 years too late on that rule change.

Hiller takes his stat-tracking duties on the bench very seriously.

You'll wear your crazy eyes proudly while you put on a Flames jersey and head to Vancouver to rub it in.

I live in Victoria. No need to travel to Vancouver. I can get the same effect here. Especially if I head to Esquailmalt or Langford.

Do with that information what you will.
Time for some hungry cougars to have their way (take whichever meaning of cougar you prefer).

Late and maybe I am thinking differently but I thought McCarty had an OT winner back in 2006 against Anaheim:

Yeah, Steinberg corrected himself later.

McCarty in game 1 2006 had our last OT winner period.
Franzen in game 6 2007 had the last OT winner against us at home . David Moss should have won it prior though...
Havlat in game 1 2009 had the last OT winner against us on the road.

Don't tell that to the Canucks "fans" who only jump on the bandwagon once every couple years:

I think I discovered the real reason we traded Glencross:

Gaudreau is the new Scoreface.

Or dare I say... Gaudr-O-face?

If your going to jump on a bandwagon make sure you check the rules in that sport at LEAST once a decade.

I screamed when Johnny scored. Then, I had to leave for work as I was already late. So, I missed OT. Glad that TSN 1040 carried the Ducks radio PBP and I heard Backlund score. This is happening in Victoria too so it was that much more fun. Cannot believe I missed the OT to work a Yo Gotti concert. That was...... pass the advil.

So the FLames touque was waving out the side window, the horn was a honkin', poor old folks in front of me must've thought they had a raving loony toon behind them.

Resilient effort tonight. They found a way even when the league was pulling an '04 on them all over again. Non-conclusive my arse. That was in.

Bennett is a beast. Man is he going to be great.

Happy for Backlund and Colborne. Both needed those goals tonight. Team did as well as it took a ton of pressure off of the top line.

I'll say it, going 0-2 in the Honda center had me doubting. Scrappy basterds pulled one out.

Gaudreau with an all world shot to tie it up. Love that guy. In a total plutonic fan boy kind of way of course.

still running high from last night's game, just unreal.

am really really glad backlund got that goal. he's been flying this playoffs, but was taking heat for no results on the score sheet (the fan was making a big point of it yesterday, as well as many of us here on CP). Last night he was playing great, and had that post early in the game too. he's a streaky player so him finally getting one in could start him on a roll which would be AWESOME at this stage!

Colborne was also playing extremely hard last night, as was bennet.
