I'd say it's less to do with fatigue than the fact that the Flames just don't have the horses to compete with the elite teams. They put up a good fight most of the time, but they don't have any serious game breakers on the roster...at least not yet. I have no doubt that guys like Gaudreau and Monahan will eventually be superstars in this league. But they're not there yet.
