No... A goal by any 4 of my 5 Flames (one guy ahead of me had Gaudreau) and would have won it all.
As it was, payout was $323.40, by a very large margin my biggest payday playing daily games

Flames are one of very few teams that confirm goalie starts well in advance. The Kings, for example, don't ever announce and it isn't really until the pre game warm up that who starts for certain is known.
After morning skate, most starters should be confirmed.

Finished fourth in an afternoon pool. Russell's gaffe cost me first. Thankfully that was only a $17 dollar difference ($100 pool), so I'm not too choked about it.

Haha Russell's mistake probably pissed you off more than the typical Flames fan then.
I can't be mad at him though. He rarely makes mistakes. Gio was making mistakes at a more regular rate than Russell before he went down with injury.

Not really. It happens - especially when the rest of the team leaves the D without an outlet. All part of the game. The entire team came out flat in the third.
Also, interesting that only four of us in the CP pool took Ovechkin, and two for Backstrom. Of course, those two being useless in the first against Winnipeg is killing me right now.

When Ovi buries 3 to sink the Jets in the third, it will look a lot better lol.
I still always do - but it's never valuable to scoreboard watch too early.
I.E. boo radley has everyone going now, calgarygeologist only has 1.
