Did a bit of research this morning, Canada's only remaining road ties are Belgium and France.

Next: Belgium (Away)

Possible Semifinal:
Serbia (Home)
Argentina (Home)

Possible Final:
France (Away)
GB (Home)
Australia (Home)
Kazakhstan (Home)

It's very favourable.

Dancevic qualified for Indian Wells! Beat two good players to do it, Dhumzur and Petzchsner. Plays Dogolpolov today in the first round.

Posposil won his first round match yesterday over Kukushkin

Interesting story about the Williams sisters' first return to Indian Wells after boycotting the tournament for 13 years. I had completely forgotten about all the early accusations of match fixing and interference by their dad: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...-indian-wells/

I must say Genie has looked quite good through two matches (6-3, 6-2 win today) and while the opposition hasn't been great, she's doing what she should to lesser competition and just rolling through it. But the serve seems better and the ground strokes as well much crisper. New coach helping no doubt. Let's see how it goes when the competition level rises.

She dispatched Van Der Weighe with ease. She looks confident. I agree her ground strokes looked great, she had some really nice winners and her athleticism won her more than a few points.

There has to be a channel somewhere showing Genie's match. This is why people don't like Sportsnet

It's absurd between all the Sportsnet and TSN coverage that this match isn't being shown.

Edit: Premier League Darts is on after the Federer match

Maybe Sportsnet knew something because sounds like Genie had a bad collapse, served for the match in the 2nd set, up 4-1 and two breaks in the third. But 74 unforced errors and its a 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-4 loss, almost a 3 hour match.

Raonic next meets 17th seed Tommy Robredo in the fourth round. He needed three sets to knock off 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov, 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.

In quarter-finals doubles action, Vancouver’s Vasek Pospisil and American partner Jack Sock beat Andre Begemann and Ernests Gulbis, 7-6, 6-2.
