Yeah I have Telus also and though occasionally the sync is slightly off, generally I don't notice any issues. Certainly not to the extent that you guys are talking about.

I was watching on Telus Optik TV last night and it was brutal as well. I remember Reinhart took a shot and I heard it hit the crossbar (might have been post) before he even took the shot.

It's brutal.

Sounds like a Shaw issue. But then again, some Telus subscribers are experiencing the same thing.

Therefore, it's gotta be from the source and or production.

I'm on Telus Optik as well, and the video getbak posted is what I see and hear as well. Looks to be isolated on SN Flames I've noticed

I'm on Telus and last night was the first night it was really noticeable. From the beginning when Millions and I forget who was talking pregame to I think it was GlenX slapper that rang of the crossbar even before he shot it. Horrible. Who do we write/email too, to make a difference.

I'm not the most tech savvy maybe someone on CP can put some visual packages together of the worst moments vs the best moments and we can do a CP jihad on their email. Just a thought.

That's when I started to really notice it and after, I just couldn't ignore it. The sound of the puck hitting a stick and every other arena sound was delayed.
WTF happened since game 1 of the season? Game 1 the crowd volume was turned up. The HD looked crisp. Now back to this garbage where nothing will get done to get it fixed because SN is too lazy to do something about it or even acknowledge it. Only 12 more years of this crap. I've always stuck up for SN and even bashed on other posters who complained about it because I figured just getting to watch the game was good enough. But last nights game actually ruined the viewing experience for me, it was that bad. I hope someone emails SN those videos that clearly shows the problem. You just can't ignore that evidence.

There was even one point in the broadcast where the crowd volume was decent. Then it went into one of those quick 10 seconds ads between whistles and the volume was turned down so you could hear the advertisers voice. But when the ad was done, the crowd volume never got turned back up and until the end of the game Bell and Hrudey's voices overwhelmed all the audio. 12 more years!!

Nope, I'm using Optik and it was really bad last night. Can't comment on how Shaw's was but I don't think it's the service providers. SN just sucks.

I'm in total agreement here. However, we need to make sure the emails are hitting the right box, and not some generic "feedback" email. The emails need to go to the top guys, producers, etc.

At the same time, Shaw, Telus, etc need to emailed the same email.

We need to hit all players in this.

I know we have a few people on CP that can probably put together a Youtube video that could be forwarded with the email. The email needs to contain video evidence, links and of course, a link to this thread.

If we're going to do this, we need a properly written up letter. To the point, professional and without any unneeded curse words (as much as we want to).

Everyone needs to use the same letter, tailored with their name, same links and same video. As well, send to the same people at Sportsnet, Shaw, Telus, etc.

I suggest people start hitting social media - key SN personalities and general accounts. . Maybe we come up with a hash tag to use.
Honestly this is really poor. It ruins aspects of the game including the shootout.
Social Media can be a powerful tool because it exposes the issue and the action (or lack thereof) being taken.
But make sure the message being sent is consistent. Action is more likely to be taken against a very specific identified problem. Let's not use this is a chance to complain about a bevy of SN things that you personally don't like. Focus on this specific issue and try to get resolution.

I know a manager at telus in the customer service department maybe I could get some email addresses from him on who to direct these issues too.

Emails can be easily ignored. Social media is tougher because it is out there.

Should do a poll of providers and who is having problems?

Shaw - problems
Shaw - no problems
Telus - problems

Etc.

I was watching on centre ice last night and it was awful

I'm on Bell and I had the exact same thing. It was that play in particular that made me realize the sound was not in sync.

Weird....my Telus Optik was off like the rest around here....had to be close to a second delay at its worse.

Last night was the worst I have seen, can't really remember it at all this year before then...buuuuut, I watch a lot of games in 60 minutes these days so don't see the lips flapping much.

This is why I keep posting about the audio sync issues on Twitter and include SN and the Flames in the post. Not easy for them to ignore if it's out there for all to read.

If we can agree on a hashtag, then we can start using that always as well and start trending.

I'll second that it's the same problem on Bell that it is on the other providers.
