haven't seen this anywhere here - former Flame Blair Jones has secured a spot on the opening night roster of the Philadelphia Flyers. Which is even more shocking/surprising when you realize that they are starting the season with only 13 forwards.

Sharks are keeping mueller, tierney (2012 2nd rounder), and goodrow (undrafted). Last two will play on 3rd line.
Anyone know much about the two forwards (part time sharks fan)?

Both are OHL guys, both first round picks. Goodrow was a late developer but was really good last year. He's a big grinder type. Tierney is more of a skill guy. Kind of surprised he made it this year, but may have rounded out his game. He was with London so you may have seen him in some Memorial Cup games.

he has. With Ryan Murray going on IR, they are now down to 7 defensemen (Erixon, Goloubef, Johnson, Prout, Savard, Tyutin and Wisniewski). Who knows what happens when Murray returns though because all of those 7 require waivers.
by the way, 2013 first rounders Alexander Wennberg (#14) and Marko Dano (#27) have also made the Blue Jackets roster out of camp thanks to the injuries to Horton and Jenner. Will be a pretty exciting team to watch.

really happy for him. Was just surprised that he's one of 13 forwards in Philly, whereas in Calgary he would have been buried on the depth chart. So kudos to him and his agent for signing with the right team at the right time.

I thought he started well for us when he first arrived. I wouldn't say that he got worse, but he never really got any better and it was noticeable.
Good luck to him though! I still think he has potential.
