We just played the name game ourselves:

Had picked out Everett if it was a boy (it wasn't), and liked it so much that we still considered it for our girl (we ended up picking something else). And incidentally, we came up with the name years ago while driving from Vancouver to Seattle. Read that someone with 10 pound baby boy would call him Mount Everett

We also toyed with the idea of calling baby "Kipper" but just as a nickname. Problem is that we couldn't find a good name that included "Kip" or some variant of it.

That's a bit more than a stretch.

when we were picking names for our daughter (we didn't know if we were having a boy or girl) it got to the point that she had to give me lists of names she liked and then i'd yea/nay them becuz it seemed every name i came up with reminded her of some kid she taught..... or she figured out how that name tied in with the flames.

heck - i even tried for calvin gary... call the kid 'cal'

we haven't even started thinking of names for #2, but we still have over 4.5 months.... so lots of time ....right?? (and by 'we' i total admit i mean 'me'!)

Default Top Alberta Baby Names 2013

I have an extremely difficult to spell last name with 4 syllables. I initially had a first name that had multiple spellings, my parents changed it when I was 2 years old because it was so tedious to have to spell out your first AND last name for everyone. We are definitely going to do the same for our kids....keep this in mind people!
