Dude, he's not blaming this on metal. He's saying that he thinks the purposely left that one message on there to "say something". He went out of his way to delete all his pics and posts except a) he got into law school; and b) that song.

Well I never said the song made him kill anyone but he deleted all his pictures and statuses and kept those songs. They obviously meant something to him and he obviously knew he was going to commit those murders.

Not sure how someone could read these lyrics and not think they were purposely left on his Facebook page.

A friend of mine was one of the paramedics who arrive on scene, said it was the worst call they've been on. Was just covered in blood and ended up being sent home afterwards.

I wouldn't read too much into what is or isnt on facebook. Have any of you actually looked at your public profile lately? I was surprised to see some stuff was public that I thought was supposed to be private, I probably flagged it wrong at one time.

And you can't see albums if they are private.

His LinkedIn page was recently deleted as well. It shows up on a Google search, but when you click on it and go to LinkedIn, it is gone.

In the cache, you can see that he worked at Safeway.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that the type of music he listens to caused him to do what he did, but to me at least the Facebook post is a pretty clear reference to what his feelings were. The lyrics were obviously relevant to what he was thinking at the time.

I think that people post lyrics because they coincide with their personal thoughts, and sometimes it's easier or more profound to express your feelings through lyrics that closely resemble how you're feeling rather than trying to think of a deep or philosophical statement on your own.

Wrong. You can see albums but no images. So you can know if someone has 120 pictures and 6 albums but you just can't see them.

We see very few statuses, probably one's he's tagged as public, and we wouldn't necessarily see pictures. You don't see pictures on my public timeline either, only my cover photos, and not all people use cover photos. I have plenty of friends who don't have a profile pic either, wouldn't ever suspect that as suspicious.

I'm sure as a paramedic you become almost immune to many scenes you are called upon, but something like this must still be pretty horrific to witness.

Also, as much as there is rampant speculation about who this POS is that did this, I'm almost trying to completely forget about him already. My thoughts are wholly with the families of these poor victims who lost their life for absolutely no reason. Lives cut short in situations like this are always so sad.
