Backes is probably done after that hit. The guy likely has a concussion and will no doubt miss the rest of this series at the very least.

Yeah I don't think Seabrook gets anything more. Giving up a tying goal as a result is likely enough.

I don't like Backes as a player, but Toews coming over and saying anything was uncalled for. Playoffs or not, unlikeable recipient or not. If a Flame did that I would be disappointed.

After watching the hit a few times, changed my mind it's not as bad as I thought. Borderline but not intentional IMO.

Doesn't look that dirty to me... he didn't pummel him or anything. He wanted to fight and the other guy didn't oblige. He can be dirty though... but i don't think that play is very dirty.

Blues win.

I hope this series goes the distance, but Seabrook may have blown the Hawks' chances at a series win.

Best series so far IMO. Great hockey. St-Louis powerplay blows though.

ugh, any team employing Backes, Ott and Lapierre I am cheering against.

Hell of a series so far. Time for Chicago to answer.

Jackman, probably the most deserving player on the Blues, good for him.

Hawks just not playing smart. They should be up 2-0 in this series or 1-1 at the very least. Lots of selfish play today.

Fantastic series so far. Very close games, very physical and obviously the teams hate each other. Hopefully Chicago can make a series out of it over these next two games.

The Hawks need to play smarter and more disciplined for that to happen. The Blues really seemed to get into Toews head today.
