So Nino Niederreiter learning to be a cheapshot artist from Matt Cooke? I didn't want Colorado to win this series because of tanking last season so they'll get a chance to pick McKinnon. Now, I don't think that is the case now. I want Minnesota to lose now but I still hasn't change my view on Avs' last season tanking though.

If Barrie can't play for over a month there's no reason Cookes suspension shouldn't be the rest of the playoffs (at the very least.) Anything less is a joke

Barrie is worth more to the Avs and the NHL than Cooke is to anybody or anything

This is exactly what I think as well. They'll make sure he doesn't return this series, but honestly they should be suspending him the same length they did Torres the last time he pulled his antics in the playoffs. What was that, 15 games?

Barrie was the lone feel good story of the Avs this year IMO.

Its a damn shame this happened and this should serve as an example in Cooke being banned from the league permanently.
