Impressed with the Flames young players. You guys will have a solid team in a couple of years. Hutch played really well. Jets were lucky and got the bounces, but were outplayed by the Flames.

BUT
could this day have gone any better??
Gaudreau signed? Check
Arnold signed? Check
Carolina loses? Check
New York Isles lose? Check
Flames don't get 2 points? Check
from a long term franchise perspective, this day couldn't have gone any better.

I'm not saying Glencross isn't an NHL'er, but other than the odd solid game (and they are few and far between IMO...), what does he bring to this team that a young guy couldn't?...
