The Jays play 9 more times this month, 3 vs A's Rays and Royals.
If we can manage to be 5-4 or at worst 4-5, that would be a good end to the month. being 31-26 or 30-27 at the end of May I think would be a good start. July and August are both relatively easier months, while June/September are worse.
Unfortunately, April and May were both "easier" as well. Just have to wait and see.

If this Jays season was a montage ala 'Major League' right now would be the moment where everyone around the country starts wearing their Jays merch with a little more pride while the Japanese grounds crew exclaims 'They're still ####ty!'

I don't know much about Liam Hendrik other than he is an Aussie and his MLB Career numbers are fairly horrendous. 2-13 with an ERA over 6.

Here's an interesting article on what Buehrle has been doing different this season:
http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-o...les-new-trick/
Long story short - he's pounding the inside of the zone with his sinker a ton more with two strikes after setting up hitters away.
It's always good when there's some sort of quantifiable adjustment to point to when a pitcher has a great start to the season. His BABIP is at .290 too which is right at his career norms so his success isn't a product of batted ball luck. Hitters will start to adjust to Buehrle's adjustments at some point, but who knows how long that will take.

It's tough to adjust to pinpoint control, even if it is coming in at 84 mph.

It's amazing how much better the Jays look when they get decent pitching.
Hendricks with a pretty solid effort tonight, leaves the game in the 6th, up 3-1.

Is EE trying to win a Gold Glove this season or something? His defensive play has really surprised me, especially lately, he's been making some unreal plays at 1st.

Yeah, he doesn't look like the mist athletic cat out there but his reflexes are insane.
