I've noticed a couple people lurking but not replying, it makes me think they are waiting to see how to proceed from their communication with others.

Ok seriously, this is like the 4th time I've seen Timbo checking it out and then leaving.

I thought it was against the rules to post our identity, that's why I'm not posting
Also, as per the rules:
Quote:
Character name or abilities (if they have any) are NOT indicative of role in all cases. A character who would “fit” as a bad guy could be good, or vice versa. Be careful with your assumptions.

Someone want to get a list going?
At this point management will be forced to pick last to assure they aren't picking someone that was taken, pick someone more obscure so the likelyhood of them making the list of ~20-25 players isn't high, or gamble and pick a star and hope no one else comes after them claiming to be them.

You can't reveal you're so-and-so by say posting a screenshot of your PM but there's nothing stopping people from saying they are who they are. It's whether or not they are telling the truth and if we trust them.

That's how I interpret it, yes... but I don't know for sure.
An interesting wrinkle though... if a management member says they are Chara (for example) and a player says "no wait, I'm Chara!" we still won't know who to believe
Well, I guess we would after we lynched one.

Most games I've played, outing your role is fine as long as you don't out that you are something that can string up and ruin the Mafia's day. Otherwise you become target numero uno.
I also scanned the rules before making that play.

Also true. Happens frequently with the "I'm the Oracle!" argument that happens on about day 3-4 in a 15 player game.

Whenever anyone is in the thread, they should also post any participants that are viewing the thread but haven't posted their player name.
Then we should also keep a running list of those guys, even with a number beside their name for how many times they've been caught viewing the thread without coming clean.
Might force some guys to post suspiciously out of fear of being accused.

I'm going to point out that activeStick instead of posting his role decided to private message someone. You can see by checking who's online.

There are also going to be executives on the side of the players, and players with special abilities. So everyone revealing may be a bad thing.
Management is just going to lie, but if all the players tell the truth there is a chance that management could pick off certain NHLPA members based on potential role.

Last post before I get back to work.
On day one, we frequently only have two truths to go off of... the vote patterns and who is active/inactive.
Day 2 is much easier because you have one card flip and one overnight killing, plus all the role usage that happens over night.
So, what I'm saying is, don't sweat it if we lynch a player by mistake.

dsavillian how about listing your name before you leave?
You went to the trouble saying that the players could be bad but never offered up your own player name...
