I find it interesting that Brian Brohm who they acquired from Hamilton yesterday shorty after releasing Justin Goltz is now in the running to be the #1 with Drew Willy as Mike O'Shea had insisted Drew Willy was #1. Looking at his NFL stats with the Buffalo Bills it doesn't looked good, but Danny McManus saw him first hand in Hamilton so he should know what they are getting.
Dave Naylor tweeted that Mel Kiper once had Brian Brohm as the #1 rated QB on his list in his draft year. Apparently there is a video out there somewhere with Todd McShay and Merril Hoge (?) talking about how Brian Brohm is better than Aaron Rodgers. That's funny.

Reading a CFL forum tonight and post from a guy who is very closely connected to CFL players caught my attention, Rey Williams is apparently done as he can't walk without pain in his knees. If you remember he tore his ACL last year September, that leaves a another hole for Saskatchewan this time at MLB. With the ways thing stand today I would look to Mortty Ivy who spent last year on the practice roster to start at MLB for them next season. They are apparently very high on him.

I could easily see Brohm beating out Willy. However, it's hard to predict how "NFL" talent will translate into the CFL.
Random fact: Brohm has already been on the cover of SI (as a high school junior):

Argonauts will be moving to be BMO Field.
@TFCLeafnation:
Open design to let grass grow
Hybrid grass system at BMO
EPL experience at BMO with roof
Adding video boards to BMO and special events like Winter Classic, MLS Cup. World Cup, Grey Cup other large events
From 21000 to 30000 in first phase to accommodate Argos
Very early on design for roof
First phase of construction in time for Pan AM Games and Rugby
Private sector majority of cost
@prizby:
City is the one's that want MLSE to make BMO Field capable for the Argos
Concourse and east stands should be done by May 1st, 2015; 2nd phase done by May 1st, 2016; shovels in the ground after labour day/cne
Tim Leiweke has said on the suggestion of Mike Layton they will build a way to use public transit for season ticket holders-give a pass

Kevin Glenn doesn't want to continue his CFL career with the expansion Ottawa Redblacks.
The veteran quarterback says he's asked the Redblacks to be traded.
Glenn said he originally asked the Redblacks to be released but that request was rejected.
Ottawa GM Marcel Desjardins said he's working to accommodate Glenn's wishes.

I guess it makes sense he is staying as he has put his roots down in Winnipeg, as he is engaged to a local girl from Winnipeg who he will marry this spring.

LMAO. Bob Irving reported tonight on CJOB that Desjardin's asking price from the Bombers for Glenn is the #2 pick, Corey Watson and two unnamed players.
BC, Saskatchewan, and Montreal have also apparently showed some interest in acquiring Glenn. If Glenn hopes to start again Winnipeg is his best hope or maybe BC too because of Lulay's shoulder issues. Montreal remains a mystery as Popp has gone on record saying that they want to develop their own QB's they have signed now that AC has retired. But what does Popp know as he might have little to no control anymore. Never a good thing either that Popp hired a labour lawyer this week. Saskatchewan obviously just wants an insurance policy behind Durant as they have a kid going into his #2 year and another kid who they signed this week as their QB's.

The Argos have released Khalif Mitchell. In other CFL news, Lalji reports there are only two teams serious about acquiring Glenn and they are the Lions and the Blue Bombers.
The CFL and CFLPA were supposed to meet this weekend about the expiring CBA (which is set to expire in May I believe?). Reading a snippet of a article with Ulrich who talked to McCallum which shed some light on what is going. Players are expected to ask for an increase in the $45,000 minimum wage, for a 46-man active roster, and agents are also asking to scrap the option-year clause in contracts.

Not a big fan of Khalif but as I recall he wanted to play for Stamps last season instead of Toronto. Something to do with being close to his business or whatever. I wouldn't be surprise that when he doesn't get sign from an NFL team, he might sign with Stamps. He is not a bad player just very undiscipline and dirty player. I think Huf can straighten him out though. Just a thought.

Would give the CFL a nice media boost if he were to sign. Would also boost some ticket sales I'm sure, especially amongst those starry eyed NFL fans.

Burris on the radio this AM with Kirsch about Big Brothers day.
Mentioned that there could be a strike this year as the players are insisting on revenue sharing and that is the reason why the CBA has not been signed and also that the players are sticking together to get it.
