Bagg running the stairs at Mosaic this morning with Sheets and Brackenridge. Someone in the Regina media asked about Bagg to the team, basically told the team isn't saying nothing and you'll have to wait till tomorrows practice to find out. Nobody even comes to close the will this guy has in the CFL. Check out the video Sheets posted below :

And speaking of QB's I'm by no means a fan of Josh Neiswander either.

He's turned into a solid player.

Rob Bagg continues to undergo tests, ruled out of Saturday's game
Quote:
So what's the status of Bagg?
"Still the million dollar question, the doctor and Ivan, all those guys, are still assessing him to see exactly what is the extent of the injury," said head coach Corey Chamblin.
At this point, Chamblin wasn't in a place to say what part of Bagg's knee is actually injured, saying there's too many things it could still be at this point, Chamblin wouldn't even rule out if it was the ACL again, saying anything is still possible. The fact that it is a knee injury was confirmed.
Another thing that was confirmed, Bagg won't play this Saturday in Edmonton.
"It would be too far along in the week," said Chamblin. "Like anything else, we get hurt we want practice for at least a week."

Chamblin says that Bagg has a sprain, not a tear, no timetable set for his return. Great news for everything Bagg has been through the last few years.

Having 5 straight posts in a thread makes me look like an idiot who is talking to himself but I found some rather interesting CFL news and such where I thought it was worth sharing.
Former Edmonton OC Kevin Strasser arrested for stealing a students watch and pawing it off:
Police arrested Oregon City High School's head football coach Tuesday, accusing him of stealing and pawning a student's high-end wristwatch.
Kevin Eugene Strasser, coach since 2011, was arrested at his home in Oak Grove, following an investigation by Oregon City police.
Strasser, 42, was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of first-degree theft and official misconduct, with bail set at $22,500. He posted a 10 percent security deposit against his bail early Wednesday and was released, pending his Sept. 24 arraignment in Clackamas County Circuit Court.

Interesting tweet from Craig Smith (Rider Player Personnel Director) to Chris Garret. Makes sense if you ask me as they have no depth behind Sheets.
@TheChrisGarrett can you get in touch with me Chris. Craig Smith. Riders Player Personnel Director

Speaking of former Blue Bombers, Jason Vegas has signed with Dallas.
Helmet's Toronto is wearing on Friday (I think the image is too large to post so go to the line below for the helmet). they will also be wearing Argos 83 retro jerseys, Hamilton is also revealing a third jersey on September 7th.

Halifax polls shows strong interest for CFL team:
A new poll suggests the people of Halifax want a professional football team, and a local university coach says the city could “definitely” bring a Maritime party to the Canadian Football League.
On Wednesday, Corporate Research Associates released a survey showing the majority of people in Halifax, Bedford, Dartmouth and other areas of HRM – 65 per cent in fact – would support a CFL team.
Another 21 per cent were opposed, and 14 per cent were unsure.

Love those Toronto helmet's! The rowing football boat is classic, they should make those permanent! I am really hopefull the CFL can expand into Atlantic Canada within the next few years. A 10 team league has always been a dream of mine. Quebec city would also be a great market to get into.

I think the Josh Neiswander era in Montreal is officially over. Tanner Marsh just might the heir apparent to AC.

So you can't hit a QB on the thigh?

I would love to see a rule change where the QB can no longer just throw the ball way out of bounds. I think that should be called as intentional grounding. Force the QB to make a play

So did someone just win a million dollars? They said that was the second kickoff returned for a td?

This Carrier guy for Montreal is pretty shifty! McCallum gets away with a trip to save a TD

First one was a missed field goal return and I think it needs to be the same player anyway.

I guess the one was returned off a missed field goal. I'm not sure why the commentators decided to say that was the 2nd kickoff returned for a touchdown.

Yeah I just looked at the box score but I read the Safeway rules and it just says. 2 kickoffs returned in the same game. It didn't say anything about players. I always wondered that.

3 picks thrown now for Marsh. That said, Marsh does seem to have a better arm than Neiswander

I was debating with myself with Calgary only been only to save one QB a deal could happen with Montreal. Montreal could get a good quarterback to replace AC, and Calgary wouldn't lose a QB for nothing. I would think Calgary would be the team Ottawa is looking at the most. Toronto has an interesting situation though with Ricky Ray and Collaros.
