Browna/CSW: I think it's completely fair to mock/question the Oilers about the circumstances of the firing, but I think if you go through the thread, you'll find plenty of examples of people just focusing on Skype itself. What you guys are talking about is a broader scenario than a lot of the flippant comments Ive seen here (or heard on the radio). The tech itself is a professional tool ....how professional one acts with that tech is a whole other issue.

Btw.. I once had a guy (a 2+ year employee) quit on me via txt message at 2am. Still did his 2 weeks too, ha.

Personally I would rather get punted via Skype, the more impersonal and sooner, the better.
He didn't but once they hung up KLown came from behind the monitor and slapped MacT's butt. Professional?

I will give this much to Mucker he saw the guy they wanted in Eakins and they didn't waste anytime to land him.
I still say that if the Oilers are still struggling by the end of Dec that so will Eakins.

Was this the big "post Stanley Cup" announcement?

More along the lines of we can't get rid of too many members of the old boys club because Katz will have nobody to snuggle with at the weekly pajama parties.
