Stay away from Bickell. Great playoffs for him though.

That's the advantage - an earned advantage - of finishing 1st in the conference vs 5th. The Hawks got to play a mediocre Wild team in the first round, while LA went to war against the very strong Blues. And finishing off weaker teams quickly is one of the keys to staying fresh and winning the Cup (as the Kings themselves proved last year).

Which, if the Bruins finish off the Penguins in 4 tonight, could be bad news for the Hawks.

Game 5: Quick gives up an AWFUL goal! 1-0 Early. Keith scores.

LA misplays a long dump in...Quick couldn't poke the puck past Bickell...ends up a score for Kane.

Man, Quick has let in some awfully soft goals during this playoff run. He has been really good but those one or two Luongo esque goals have killed the momentum for the Kings.

I know some Flames fans don't want to hear this but the Hawks have really exposed Regehr this series.

Are there some here actually cheering on the Hawks in this series/playoffs?

I personally found the last finals involving them to be the most dull in the past decade, which is why I don't care to see them advance (though I probably won't have my way). Lol, just remember how anti-climactic that game 7 winner was...

Also I'm not a big fan of whiny, try-hard Toews, and "I want to be respected like Crosby" the baby faced weasel, Kane. And the fact that their fan base is 90% fair weather bandwagoners, and I mean legitimately. (not just smack talk)

To watch LA try at the first repeat in ages would be so, so much more interesting.

Stalberg's speed can make a lot of D-Men look bad.

DJ...I've been a 'Hawk fan since Mr. Goalie, Glenn Hall, was stopping pucks...Was so cool to see goaltender's facial reactions to shots!

Yup, I'd love to see a Chicago-Boston series. But I don't think any original 6 team's fans are mostly bandwagoners, only reason IMO that Chicago fans came back in droves is because they were bad for so long with horrible management. Also, it'd be the first time since 1979 that it was an original 6 SCF!

Kings spent very little time in possession in the 'Hawks' zone...they better adjust to gum up the breakout...

Really poor backcheck by Sharp...he's gotta tie up the stick or take the hooking penalty...cannot let the guy get that shot off

to me this isnt on Sutter, if Brown and Kopitar play like they did last year, the kings are in great shape

Nice PP goal for the Kings! All tied up. Glad to see these Kings not going down without a good fight. Kopitar needed that.
