Alabama needs another 7 minute drive to kill this game. This would be one of the worst chokes ever.

For the season Jameis Winston has more touchdowns than incompletions. 6 TDs and 5 incompletions. Nice start to his career.

So against one of the best defenses in the country, Manziel puts up the following numbers...
28/39 464 yds 5 TD 2 INT.
That wont hurt his draft status any....pretty remrkable actually, and if A&M had been able to find a defense over the summer, they could have been dangerous.

Alex Collins is the first freshman in SEC history to have 100 games rushing in his first 3 games and first in NCAA since Adrian Peterson. WPS.

A year ahead of him at the very least.
EDIT: Forgot Manziel was a redshirt. I still think he waits it out another year.

I don't understand how a non crooked crew allows that. There are literally 12 seconds on the clock when Wisconsin looks to spike it. ASU falls on it, which should have been a flag, and the refs just stand around watching them kill the game. That should go as a win for both teams, and those refs should get a ban. Only reasonable explanation for their actions is gambling. No official does what they did. I give credit to Wisconsin players for not kicking the #### out of them.

I was just joking, Purdue is in rough shape this year but it looks like they put up a decent effort against ND.

Yep. And this is the end for Mack Brown at Texas. Rumors are (Dodds is denying it) our AD Deloss Dodds is retiring at the end of the calender year after 30+ years on the job, no one in any other field of work would hold the same executive position for 30 years that's pretty ridiculous. Rumored replacements for Brown are Gruden and Muschamp. I want no part of either, not sure either would come also. I would prefer Charlie Strong or James Franklin maybe Pat Fitzgerald, but I don't think he would come either.

A real ugly win for Michigan vs Akron.
Akron out played Michigan for most of the game. The Wolverine D was terrible and Gardner was a turnover machine and 3 of them in the Akron redzone.
Personally i feel many players were reading to many articles about how great the ND win was and how Central Michigan was a cake walk.
I think they forgot that Son of Bowden is a great coach and he is building a team full of kids that OSU passed on and they have something to prove.
The coaches better let Garder run more read option when he sees fit.
He changes a game when he is not forced by Borges to sit in the pocket.
As a Michigan fan it was a nightmare game to watch unfold but the Akron fans should be damn proud of their team. Man they battled right down to the last play.
Michigan escaped with a win and are real lucky they didn't lose.
I expect U Conn to be a much different game.

They are doing something to the officials...just not sure what.
Quote:
A statement released by the conference said commissioner Larry Scott was taking "additional sanctions against officials" for their failure to "properly administer the end of game situation and act with appropriate urgency on the game's final play."
"This was an unusual situation to end the game," Scott said in the statement. "After a thorough review, we have determined that the officials fell short of the high standard in which Pac-12 games should be managed. We will continue to work with all our officials to ensure this type of situation never occurs again."

The Pac-12 should just fire every official they have. By far the worst refs in college football.

Saw that, I assume they'll note it in their files and make them ref a couple of extra games in Pullman or something as punishment.
I still can't believe that entire sequence. The actions of the officials were so extremely out of line with how any official operates in that situation that I'm still not convinced they weren't on the take. Yes there would be easier ways to go about that, so it's probably not the case, but I just can't wrap my head around it in any other way.
