It was Hudler with Stajan and Stepniak. No Cervenka.

He looks more like a hockey player than Hall and RNH.

We already know he looks good in red. All he needs now is a tinted visor.

Hawks scoring with 2 seconds left is such a blow. Freaking dammit.

The effort, jump, O-zone pressure and responsibility on the back end we saw tonight will get you a win 19 times out of 20. 1 out of 20 you take one right to the nads from the Hockey Gods. This was that time.

I was entertained. I saw systems that worked, skill that impressed, effort and a full 60 minute game. We lost. I've seen less of those things get us a win...but keep us on the outside looking in at playoff time. THIS kind of work and play 6 games in with as much change as is on this squad is very promising. If this was a normal season, I'd be awfully confident about where we'd be come playoff time. It is too bad we're conducting this grand experiment in a short season with so little wiggle room.

I still thing we're going to surprise a lot of people by the end of the season. I haven't seen this much quality hockey on this team for quite a while.

Thats the thing. Who else can he put out? we don't have a very good checking line.

Maybe he could have did a reverse Sutter and put out 5 dman out there!

Iggy got an assist. I love him.
We need to give him more ice time. Reason he hasn't scored is we aren't giving him enough ice time this season

I agree. At least they took Tanguay off the point on the PP. Babysteps.

I can just imagine Brent Sutter watching the game at home and thinking he should have given the players the green light to go offensive. A different style and suddenly players like Bowmeester look more confident with the puck.

2 seconds away from Bouwmeester being the hero.

I wanted it for him.

haha, i suppose. But what were his other options really? maybe the Backlund line? But I think they just went off. I guess that's what happens when you lack center depth.

I'm hoping Hudler convinces Cervenka to resign withe Flames. He's only going to get better as he becomes more comfortable the NHL sized ice and game. Great signing by Feaster!

Actually chuckled at that line from the CBC crew tonight.

Can't waist Bouws goal late there. Bad luck, domination etc but you cannot allow them to score late. That's why we aren't a playoff team.

Bad teams do this alot. I remember the Blues of years back used to play this way. Solid pressure but still lots of losses.

We have a team of second line players. It is what it is.
Well said. Flames should tank and get the first picks and I will not be mad

Feaster needs to make a trade ASAP to get us more physical. It's terrible watching guys like Hall and Nuge and Kane and Toews just play around in our end with not one person hitting them. Terrible.

Yeah actually had probably his best game of the season which is why you didn't notice him as he's usually noticeable for the wrong reasons but not tonight. 4th line didn't see the ice nearly as much in the 3rd period.

How about "D'oh" after calling the momentum killing timeout and putting Stajan's line on the ice to finish off the game.
