I kinda felt bad for her. She trusted too much, gave Dawn the immunity idol (basically), and gave the others the time with the loved ones. And then she gets voted out. Ouch.

I really hate the "loved ones crap". It's day 35 people, you really can't wait 4 or 5 days to see your family for the first time in just over a month?

This may have been a milestone for Erik (70th day), but it was also a milestone for me in which it was the first time I could use my PVR to fastforward all that weepy junk.

My wife says this every year, it bugs her. Not only is it pretty annoying, it's actually one of the rewards you don't want to win. It's late in the game, you have to choose another player to join you which puts a bullseye on your back (and theirs). And then tonight with the twist it was obvious she was looking for brownie points, and votes later on.

The worst thing to happen to Brenda in this game was winning that challenge.

Stone cold... Brenda is amazing so awesome great person... then they bring down the axe.

She went too far with the humble giving nice route compared to the cold hearted bitchy route last time. Sigh too bad she was starting to come into her own. Which is why Cochrane had to give the word. I think this move might hurt Dawn and Cochrane. The dislike of Dawn and Cochrane is now there with this move. All she has to do now is go up and say how destroyed she was by them in the final jury speeches.

Yeah, Brenda's exit interview was a bit tough to watch. It is a game afterall and she put far too much trust in people. She was a legitmate threat compared to the remaining players and it was the right strategy.

Erik looked absolutely crushed at the tribal council, but that is what happens when you try to play both sides all game, eventually you are going to be left standing there going "What?"

It appears as though, barring any immunity wins, it is going to be a final three of Sherri, Dawn and Cochrane. Eddie and Erik are no slouches, these guys can pull out wins at the challenges for sure, I would be shocked if neither of these two win one of the remaining 2? challenges.. but regardless I think everyone wants to bring Sherri to the end. I can't wait to see her get torn apart, something about her bugs me, maybe it is her cockiness despite being a bring along vote the entire game.

Probst Q & Ad after last night

Other than maybe Christy Smith in the Amazon, I can’t remember anyone being this distraught immediately after being voted out. Did you talk to Brenda right after and what other insight can you give us into how she was doing after being blindsided?
PROBST: Well it’s something we are going to deal with at the live show for sure. Yes, I spoke with her immediately after the vote and she was pretty upset by the betrayal, especially from Dawn. I think that Brenda played a pretty worthy game both as strategist and as human. She gave a lot of herself to other people. So, to have her entire alliance — but mainly Dawn — sucker punch her was tough to take.


EW: Okay, we’ve got a supersized three-hour finale/reunion show coming up next on Sunday night, so give us a supersized tease on what to expect. The nation is on pins and needles waiting to find out if there will be a Fallen Comrades tribute, and if so, whether it will be by land or by sea!
PROBST: Yes, there will be Fallen Comrades but I am determined to find a way to get rid of it in coming years! It’s a good finale. The game is definitely not over. We have another big turn moment. The only person who I don’t think can win in any given scenario is Sherri. Sorry Sherri, it’s not personal. I just don’t see it happening at this point. Everybody else has a shot depending on which people end up in the final!

Haha, to have Probst call you out at the end has to be a blow to the gut.

Final tribal is going to be awesome.. definitely one of the few I have actually looked forward to no matter which of the 5 are up there. Guys like Malcolm and Reynold are going to have great questions to make things extra awkward, not to mention all of the former alliance guys who got back stabbed.

That's Just Andrea (Who took it like a champ and was attempting her own blindside at the time) and Brenda. To be honest I would be very surprised if Cochrane doesn't win in a landslide... I mean look at his competition

He's the most obvious winner since Boston Rob. Maybe that's a trick of editting but I think if he can get to the end he wins.

I think that Erik has to be considered as part of this alliance as well, also Dawn/Cochrane/Sherri could also get back stabbed before the end and be on the jury. So we are looking at a minimum of 3 ppl 'back stabbed' on the jury, I think that my previous comment on the matter stands as accurate.

I felt a little bad for Brenda she was truly heart broken last night. But she did put the spotlight on herself by being overly generous with the family challenge. Once you do that the others will see you playing for jury votes. Cochrane was right she was too dangerous to be left alive.

Out of the rest Sherri, Cochrane, Eddie, Dawn and Erik.

Jury votes right now

Sherri - with the current jury members no votes, she either screwed them all over with lying or inactivity or promising and not delivering, she was also challenge useless and is a harpy with an ugly belly button.

Dawn - Current votes maybe Phillip, she's been a key member of the last two blindsides. She overplays the crying thing for sympathy and is probably seen as ruthless and a mastermind by the rest of the jury

Eddie - Malcolm, Michael, Reynold, Andrea and Brenda. The first three because they were part of the outside alliance, the last two because of the absolute blind sides

Erik - Maybe Andrea and Dawn possibly Phillip. He didn't help himself with the outsiders by playing bother sides and lying to them about his votes and I would think that the jury sees him as riding coat tails to the final.

Cochrane - Phillip, Malcolm, Michael, Reynold Andrea, all might vote for him based on the feel good story, the fact that he's controlled his alliance from the start and he let others do the axe swinging for him. They might also vote for him because he played the game like Russell in a lot of ways but under stood the social aspect. Brenda will certainly vote against him.

So if I'm Cochrane I approach Sherri and Erik with a promise of final three, I gut Eddie if he doesn't win immunity or Erik if he does because theres no chance that Dawn and Sherri will win immunity.

If I'm Eddie and win immunity I gut Cochrane in the next vote and then guy either Dawn or Erik following that.

If I'm dawn I take Sherri and Erik

If I'm Sherri I take Erik and Dawn

if I'm Erik I take Sherri and Dawn
