I really want to see the Eric Francis - Bruce Dowbiggen show. That's entertainment!

^ by "entertainment", do you mean "thousands of listeners throwing radios out their windows", like the SCTV intro?

They would get thru an hour and then Kirsch would have to find a replacement as one of them would storm out....hopefully Dowbiggen as I dislike him waaaaaay more than Francis.

Looks like another format switch for the overnight hours -- I'm currently listening to CBSSports Radio.
Hopefully it's better than the screaming from FOXSports.

Im kinda disappointed. I liked the Fox lineup in particular the early morning show and their NFL coverage on the weekends. Fox had a decent weekend motorsports show as well.
Day 1 of Cbs I wasnt show impressed. Doesnt help that I hate Tiki Barber. Ill give it a chance and hopefully it grows on me.
I wonder what the reason for this was. Bad feedback on Fox? Or cost? Maybe a deal on the rest of the CBS feed since Rome is now on CBS.

Isn't fan590 almost 24 hours? Just take programming from there, why American?
Brady and Lang start at 5:30am Eastern, just take that!

Ryan Leslie is taking Bryn's spot on the Big Show, it was announced this morning:
Sportsnet 960 @Sportsnet960
Sportsnet's Ryan Leslie ( @SNRyan_Leslie) will be driving across the country to join the Big Show as full time co-host.

Hopefully Leslie has some stones to offset the nerdiness of Steinberg.

I'm glad I tuned in today to listen to them argue that not all people who go to Yale are smart.
Everytime I tune in they're talking about something non hockey related and things no one cares about.

And while I was listening they were discussing who attended Iggy's farewell conference and then who they would trade off the current roster.
If they go off on occasional tangents I have no problem with that.

I personally also LOVE CBS Sports Radio that they play now.
Amy Lawrence is over from ESPN, and the crazy thing is CBS talks hockey as well.

Yesterday it was mentioned that the Fan is going to stop airing the last hour of the Jim Rome show and replace it with Hockey Central at noon.

^ Good...I don't understand the appeal of Rome. He nmakes a point and then takes the next 10 minutes repeating it in different ways. If he cut that out his show would be down to under an hour.

Ugh, Rome is the only time I get exposure to sports other than hockey, NFL or CFL. Even the NFL talk on the FAN sucks. Not a fan of this move at all. I really hope we get TSN radio in Calgary and they bring some alternate content.
