Good QB's will survive with subpar receivers whereas good weapons can't make up for a bad QB is a rule I tend to subscribe to. Last year Victor Cruz emerged because Manningham was injured. Call it the Tyler Palko theory. It's a matter of figuring out who'd get Hicks targets. Although so far Thursday night games have not been great for fantasy players, unless they were playing the Giants.
I also am worried about AP vs. San Fran. My hope is that he'll be enough of a factor in the passing game to make up for the yards that won't come on the ground.

Should I start the Patriots DST vs. the Ravens or the Lions DST vs. the Titans?
The Patriots are a better defense, but are going up against a great offense.
The Lions are a crap defense, but are going up against a crap offense.
Decisions, decisions...

Any last minute advice from anyone for my flex spot, between Coby Fleener & David Wilson? (ya ya I know, 14 team league & I had a horsepoo draft. Not much to choose from) I know Andre Brown's getting the start tonight, but I lost out on him on the waiver wire, & I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson gets some action, and you can run on Carolina. And Fleener's so hot & cold this early in his career, then again its an easy opponent in Jax.
Got Fleener in there now but I keep eye-balling Wilson since Bradshaw was ruled out.

Jags have a good defense. PPR or standard scoring?

I am torn...Jordy Nelson or Reggie Wayne.
Seattle D was good last week, but its Rodgers and I have a hard time going against him.

I have the same dilemma in mine. Jordy's due for a TD but Wayne has been Luck's go to target and they're up against the lowly Jags. I'm playing Wayne.

I think the Jags defence was a bit of an illusion last year. Teams knew they wouldn't score so they didn't really test them as much knowing that picking up a few first downs on the ground, and punting to their offence would likely still get you a win.
Thus far Minnesota, and Houston both had decent days against them. I think any Indy guys against the Jags will have pretty decent days.

Looks like Jennings isn't going to be playing this week again so Nelson will keep getting a lot of targets.

In a standard league trying to figure out who to start at WR. I can start 3 of:
Vincent Jackson @ Dallas
Andre Johnson @ Denver
Victor Cruz @ Carolina
Demaryius Thomas vs. Houston
Thoughts???

Victor Cruz.
With Hixon and Nicks both out, he should get the bulk of the passes.
Do you guys think I should start Rivers over Rodgers this week?
Rivers is going up against a banged up secondary and Seattle's secondary is good.
Only thing is its always fun to watch your QB play on Monday night and he could make a comeback and give your team the win.

I'd start Johnson, Cruz and Thomas. Cruz is a must start but other than that its a toss up

I would sit VJax out of that group too. Apparently Brandon Carr was the Chiefs pass defence.

Well, I hax the foresight to pick up Barden before this game started, knowing he was going to be the wide receiver stepping into this open position, especially after the preseason he had.
Unfortunately I talked myself out of starting him due to my other WR matchups going into this week. Here is hoping Crabtree, Bowe and Britt all have a similar week

I had Aaron Hernandez and Jermaine Gresham as my TE's...
I blew a waiver pick tonight on Martellus Bennett...I hope that was smart.

PPR, didn't get a chance to log back on all day, haha thank the golden gods I didn't get a chance to get Fleener out of that flex spot.
And my anger level has officially risen to orange on losing the waiver war for Andre Brown, good lord. Love the way he runs the ball. Seems like he can catch too. Rabble rabble!

Thank God I decided to drop Andre Brown and pick up Brandon LaFell so that I could play a full roster. Brown runs like a champ, too bad I'm gonna lose him on waivers

I just got offered Matt Schaub and Dez Bryant for Eli & Beanie Wells. My other QB is Vick, my WRs are Austin, Jennings, LaFell and Nicks, and at RB I have McCoy, CJ2K, Morris and Fred Jackson. Should I take it?

So far Eli looks like he's the best QB in the NFL. Don't do that deal. Eli alone could carry you each week.
