Can we really consider Swingers underrated? I think most people know of the film and like it.
I'm just glad that CP has a few more Mr. Show fans, I remember staying up late on Friday nights with some buddies to always catch it. I have all the DVD's.
I will mention these not because they are underrated, they are considered classics in the UK, but their age makes them virtually unknown and to be frank you will probably have to download them to see them but
The Ipcress File, Micheal Cain in a brilliantly grimy spy film from the mid sixties just in time to get you in the mood for Smileys people.
The Hill, Sean Connery in one of his truely great performances again mid sixties
Can we really consider Swingers underrated? I think most people know of the film and like it.
Well if not Swingers then Made is underrated. Everyone seems to know about Swingers, but no one seems to know about the next movie Favreau and Vaughn did together.

Has under-rated come to mean "extremely popular in its day, and now younger generations don't appreciate it like we think they should"? i.e. ALF, Frasier, Night Court, Married with Children.
Collateral is good. While I'm not the biggest Cruise fan, it's kind of fun to see him playing against type. Jamie Foxx is solid are usual.
But frankly the things that sell Collateral to me, like most Micheal Mann movies, is the cinematography. Well that and the soundtrack. Shadow on the Sun but Audioslave plays during one of the favorite parts of the film. So good.

Well just finished Collateral, and it's a pretty good flick. Jamie Foxx was good, but I don't think he was any better then Cruise. It was a well rounded cast though. Besides Cruise and Foxx, Javier Barden, Jada Pinket Smith, Mark Ruffalo and Peter Berg all have good albeit smaller roles.
Decent movie, glad I finally got around to watching it. The fight/shoot out in the night club was vintage Mann though, great intense action.

I've been meaning to rewatch it for months now. Glad you watched now, I wanted to post this earlier but didn't.

Mostly because it seems forgotten. But Mastodon also said he didn't enjoy it near the end... I always loved it. Perhaps it just dropped in quality less than the Simpsons did. I think it was the best of the Sunday night shows for a long time.
The dance challenge episode where Hal gets all obsessed...
