Shocker but tbqh United got what they deserved tonight.

I suppose they have the small consolation of knowing they qualified for it and will be back next year .....

Time to focus on 20.

Well, they've still got the Europa league to worry about.

Some quotes

"I'd get hold of some of the young lads and say 'Buck up your ideas, you're playing for Man United.'"

"This is a reality check for these so-called brilliant English teams and people who think this is the best league in the world."

"Chelsea and Arsenal will be a handful, but I wouldn't look beyond the Spanish teams. They are sending messages to everyone."

"When you look at that group Manchester United should have cruised it."

"The young lads are not doing it so they have got to face the criticism."

Fergie was told of it and responded

"Well, he's had opportunities to prove himself as a manager too"

Lehmann unimpressed by City.

Quote:
Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has claimed the Champions League is better off without Manchester City after they were eliminated from the competition despite beating Bayern Munich 2-0 on Wednesday night.

"Man City play very, very boring football," he said. "They just make their opponents fall asleep with lots of possession.

"But to be honest, that is not tactically very demanding. The way they play here is the way any amateur team plays, only not on such good grass.

"They just pack men behind the ball, have five against two and just move the ball around. The goal then just comes from a fortunate circumstance."
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...r-city?cc=5901

He must not watch Barcelona much, he just described them perfectly. The most boring team in the world.

I had no idea where to watch the games after that embarassment. Good thing Twitter always holds the answers.

How to watch your team in Europe: Arsenal & Chelsea - ITV & Sky Sports
Man City & Man Utd - Channel 5 & ITV4
Liverpool - ESPN Classic
