Just finished watching tonights episode and looks like the rest of you agree with me that this episode was awesome. For me this is the first time all season where I am really looking forward to next weeks episode.

It’s obvious the cartel wants Walter dead. With Walt so determined to kill Gus….Not knowing how his own fate is sealed if he does. It almost looks like Walters days are numbered no matter what he does.
Gus could be grooming Jesse to be his cook, he knows all the steps. Gus just needs to break Jesse’s loyalty to Walter. I think Gus is also starting to realize that Walter is really the one out of control and the greater risk to him getting caught or killed.
Also thinking, Hank has to have seen more than his share of money laundering ops in his time. He has to put the pieces together sooner or later…Part of me thinks that maybe this becomes a family operation, with Hank orchestrating the downfall of Gus and ensuring Walters safety from the Cartel. After being shot, seeing his buddy promoted… who knows.
Awesome show, can’t wait for next weeks episode.

I don't think the Cartel gives a crap about Walt, this is all about the market. The cousins wanted Walt because they were Tuco's family.

I think it's going to come down to Walt vs. Hank by the end of the season, although Hank might not realize it. Walt will realize that Hank is getting close to Gus, and he'll take action. I wouldn't be surprised if he (or Jesse) kills Hank with the "lucky cigarette".

Awesome episode. So many good things happened to advance the story lines. And Gus offering Walter Jr a job at Pollos was icing on the cake, I will literally crap myself with laughter if that transpires! Walt would flip!
It's pretty amazing to think that the shows creators are only going to have 5 seasons. We are in season 4 right now. Everybody better hang onto their hats because some crazy shiznit is going down!! Best show on TV!

That would be good, but only if it doesn't cut into his breakfast time... because the show wouldn't be the same without Walt Jr.'s breakfast.

Really good episode, but I rolled my eyes when Walt claimed no one would be suspicious over Gus' death.
An obviously fit, presumably healthy man in his 50s doesn't just drop dead because he works really hard. That would be a coroner's case for sure.

Walt and Hank are becoming a bit aligned now, I think. If those guys at the DEA are buddies with Gus, then Walt and Hank would be on the same side, sort of, against Gus. I am kind of seeing this ending like "Goodfellas" with Walt in witness relocation.
I am surprised the cartel would want Walt, and not just Gus - seeing as he was the mastermind behind that raid.

The cartel would want Walt working for them, not dead.

Is that what is meant by The Guy's ultimatum to Gus?
"Yes or No?" meaning give us Walter, yes or no?

Great episode, Jessi dominated this episode, and was great in it.
Lame though that the game "Rage" is being released this fall, 2011. Messes the timeline up for the show, oh well.

they got paid for that, and for a show on AMC that doesn't get high ratings I will accept any type of product integration they need to do

But the game made total sense in terms of the storyline. It didn't seem like a blatant product placement but rather an organic part of Jesse's story.
