The refs put their whistles there. That was pretty bad.

I hope we see that happen with the Edmonton series and someone can powerslam McDavid to the ice.

Unfortunately we all know that won't happen and it would result in a 4 or 5 minute powerplay for the Oilers.

Well, it backfired. I'm not a Leafs fan but it was all sillyness. It was barely a bump and Swayman went down like he was shot. Sports is a funny thing in what guys get worked up over. Not the sharpest tools in the shed all around.

They’ve been trying to bait Marchand all series. He hasn’t even paid attention at all. Serves them right honestly.

Bertuzzi looks like a guy that hung out at the smoke doors back in high school. He has such a dirtbag look it’s almost admirable.

He really hasn't been seen. It's a theme for him. He also is super defensive at the media but never does much each playoffs to dispel the thought that he can't step up in big games. This game he showed up the first period but not much else.

Domi can’t put it in an open net and then can’t cover Marchand on the goal. Maybe stick to bumping goalies max.

Leafs are perfecting the choke job in playoffs. Never seen anything like it.

I mean, I hate the Leafs as much as anyone, but this game isn't over yet and the series isn't over yet.

Go Bruins. Great third period as they scored an early power play goal to take the 2-1 lead. Bertuzzi tied it up, but, Marchand scored 28 seconds later for the Bruins to take the 3-2 lead. Swayman is sharp as his team plays hang on.

I’m no leafs fan but I think it’s silly fans are getting on marner, spurred on by the media. It’s a tied series. It’s not 3-0 Boston.

It's not even really a choke job IMO

They are just the 4th best team in that division most years.

Tonight they dress Benoit, Lybushkin, and Edmundson, and then wonder why they can't generate offense. And not like any of McCabe, Reilly, or Liljegren are great offensively.

Edit: oof that's a terrible call on Tavares at that moment...and feels like they maybe miss one on the empty net goal as Marchand kind of tackled Bertuzzi.

Not at all. He's their top playmaker. He's not skating or creating much. He's gotta step it up. 3 games now. First 2 completely silent.
