I would say his defensive game improved steadily throughout the last 2 years of junior, but still needs work. In the one game I watched live this year, he looked solid, although there was a couple of anxious moments. When he HAS the puck, he has no problem getting out of trouble, either with a pass or some nice stickwork; it's when he doesn't have the puck that he seems to make mistakes, or get caught out of position. This is just my opinion....

Do you think he's carrying something or gets targetted in these moments?
Reminds me of the finals between Giants and Victoria is 18/19

Our U9 team was there too. It was a fantastic experience. Henry the Honeybadger from the Roughnecks did a good job with the kids.
It was loud in there with all the kids too.
The hockey was spectacular too. Everyone should take in a game soon. The team looks great and lots of skill and toughness on display.

Last year had COVID restrictions on capacity at times.
Prior to the lockdown in 2019-20, the Heat were averaging 2,781, which was worst in the AHL. In 2018-19, they averaged 3,690 over the full season, with three teams below them (just like this season).

Calgary takes on the worst team in the league (baby ducks) tonight in the first of 4 straight games against them. Calgary is 8-1-1 in their last 10 and the Gulls have lost 4 straight.

Good start to tonight’s game, 4-2 after the first period.
And an image in light of Sutter’s comments regarding Matthew Phillips today…
