8 Canadians are playing on the PGA Tour this week.
Bob Weeks said that's a record.

I wonder what the hell happened to Adam Hadwin today. +6, sole possession of last place (144).

Hughes tied for second after the first day, I'd love to see him take a huge step this season.

Well that was underwhelming. 6/8 made the cut. 2 of those guys didn't survive a Saturday cut, so they get a couple fed ex points and a kick in the pants.
The rest couldn't manage so much as a top 30. ALL of them were over par on the weekend. Sorry fellas, but that's just not good enough.

Corey Conners is tied for the lead, playing the 9th hole in the final round of the Sanderson Farms PGA Tour event.
A win is huge. 2nd is awful points because of the split field.

Bryson DeChambeau said he will take advantage of a new rule in 2019 that allows golfers to putt from the green while leaving the flagstick in and unattended.
How many of his professional peers follow him remains to be seen.
DeChambeau, winner of four PGA Tour titles and known for his scientific approach to the game, recently told Golf.com at a photo shoot that he plans to leave the flagstick in while putting -- unless he's at the U.S. Open, where the sticks are made of a different material.
"It depends on the COR -- the coefficient of restitution of the flagstick," DeChambeau said. "In U.S. Opens, I'll take it out. And every other tour event, when it's fiberglass, I'll leave it in and bounce against the flagstick if I need to."

Interesting.

I can't believe how far Lexi Thompson can hit a golf ball.

Hearn T5
Conners T9
Here's hoping they can put together a couple rounds on the weekend and cash in some desperately needed Fed Ex Cup points heading into the break.
Not sure what is up with Mac Hughes. +11 at a tournament you previously won is bizzare.

Update on Brooke halfway through the final round.
So after starting the tournament +4 through 13 (or 14?) Holes in round one, she has now battled her way back to be T-6 on the back nine on Sunday. She is way too far back to win, but she is in good position to maintain a top 10. I don't think it will be enough to win the season ending tourney and the $1 Million, but she should keep her top 3 spot.
So awesome.

On the men's side, both Hearn and Connors are struggling. Both are currently T-30
Champions Tour Q-school sees a blast from the past with both Jim Rutledge and David morland IV looking like they qualified for the final stage. If only Ahmad Dan Batsman were there as well ....

Connors was -6 today, should be around a top 20.
Hearn needs a birdie to get into the top 10.

Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin represented Canada in a nation based World Cup Event. They had a great tournament and finished T-4.
Great for them!

On the Web.com Q-School final event, we saw some good results.
Brad Fritsch finished T-8 which gets him full status for 12 events, and then good priority for the re-shuffles when they occur. Fritsh shot a 62 on the final day to race up the leaderboard.
Michael Gligic finished in a T-13 which gets him 8 guaranteed starts
Albin Choi snuck into the top 40 as well, which is the big threshold to be included in the reshuffles and get some guaranteed events.
One final Canadian made the final stage but Seann Harlington did not make the top 40. He'll probably have to play his way into most tournaments.
