Damn. I would be very happy with 2/4. Would take overpayment to trade Whitecloud imo. Weegar is going to be hard to move with a nmc and term. Kadri seems like the perfect time to get traded and Coleman seems packed and ready to go. Hitting the cap floor could get interesting next season.

I don’t see it being much different than any other deadline. Maybe a couple the week before, but the vast majority in the last 24 hours.

Probably how it shakes out. I think there’s going to be a bidding war for a lot of players. We need to be aggressive but smart. A lot of our trade chips don’t need to be moved at this deadline necessarily, but the extra term could garner us more assets back as a result.

My inner trade geek wants it to be a crazy morning of player movement. But alas, the NHL is boring when it comes to these things so I expect a trickle of deals up to the deadline with a flurry of depth moves day of.

Lots of smoke around certain players. If Ottawa gets tunnel vision and wants Weegar we should get a haul. Would also mean we really need to draft another high end defenceman.
