Alright, I'm in. What length are we talking about to keep it?
I gotta figure out something good. I cant believe I'm doing this though, I'd prefer it if it were Portugal/Germany or something, I dont even like Spain. I'm banking on the biggest chokers in the game.

Wow. The second goal by Suarez was nasty. Korea's Defense was what let them down.

How so? First goal was a keeper error and the second goal God's defense couldn't stop that.

He had two defenders on him yet they allowed him a simple turn for a clear shot. Grade school defending.

That's a bit harsh. Korea defends in numbers. You charge the guy in wet conditions he can made a move and slip by you or he can trick you into tripping him for a penalty kick.

I was speaking more of the angles - why give the middle when it would have been beyond simple to force him outside.

^No matter. It was a wonder strike from Suarez, worthy of winning any match.

haha. from John Down in the Herald live chat
John Down:
Did I just hear someone was actually watching soccer...must have toothpicks in your eyes. Most boring game in sport and what a bunch of woosies...get within a foot of each other and it's classic swan dives all over the place, unless the game has changed in the last 40 years when I last watched it? John Down:
oh, and before one of you kick-ball lovers offers that it's most popular sport in world..it's only because you need a ball of socks or yarn to play it at the lowest level and a pair of sneakers and $8 ball to play it at upper level. If it didn't cost $5,000 a year to play minor hockey, it'd be a lot more popular too in other countries.

It would be fantastic to see the Yanks lose to Ghana. 1-0 to the good guys after 30 minutes.

Pretty funny look at the England/Germany trash talk, as well as the historic context, in the New York Times today

You could just tell the Americans were going to tie it somehow. Wishful thinking by Ghana to try to hold on.

I don't know why American soccer fans complain so much about diving. The U.S. has been one of the worst offenders this entire tournament.
