I just don't understand the Jays, they designate Biggio. A utility guy who can play multiple positions etc. He can run, etc.

Keep Daniel Vogelbach who can not play any position, might be slower than Kirk, and is only a DH

Yep, its a weird decision.... Vogelbach is just not an roster player the Jays should be keeping.

Maybe Biggio asked to be let go and see if he can get a fresh start somewhere

His utility and moderate speed makes him a much better bench player then Vogs

It’s makes no sense but these Jays decisions seldom do

It's time to move on, they have cheaper options with potential for more upside in AAA

He has the lowest exit velocity in the majors. Versatility only means something if you don’t suck which he does. I agree Vogelbach isn’t long for the team either, but I can see holding on to the one who can do damage with a bat.

He just didn't want to go back to AAA. Because he has 5 years of service time he's allowed to refuse a demotion which is his right.
