I think Nadal, Djokovic and Serena have all done that as well.

Serena not so much outside the US. But even the other two combined haven't brought as much revenue to the sport as Roger has. The post big three world is gonna be fascinating, could see prize money collapse quickly as interest wains.

It's just Tomic being Tomic...

Australia's Bernard Tomic has been fined his full Wimbledon prize money of £45,000 for not meeting the "required professional standard" during his 58-minute first-round defeat by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Tomic lost 6-2 6-1 6-4 in the shortest men's match at SW19 since 2004.

Asked afterwards if he thought he might be fined, Tomic said: "What for?"

Isner appears to be in trouble against Kukushkin, not moving well at all and it looks like this match is going the distance as Kukushkin is serving at 5-1 in set 4.

Edit: Kukushkin breaks Isner to start the 5th set

Well, after maybe showing signs of life with his 1st round victory over Mannarino, a well known decent grass player, Cilic goes down to Sousa who usually sucks ass on grass in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.

Many people wondering on Men's Tennis Forums and Tennis Warehouse forums whether this was a fixed match.

No, I don't think so, 26 bounce Marin has had a pretty poor 2019 and is a shadow of the player he used to be. That's right, I'm not shedding any tears over Cilic being eliminated.

That would be crazy, most of the fixed matches are ones with almost no eyes on them, and by players who don't make a lot on the challenger tour. I think Cilic lost last year in the first round at Wimbledon so he is prone to early losses at Wimbledon.

It's been a pretty good July 4th for American players, as Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson won their matches (Sloane Stephens on the ladies side won as well), but Isner is sent packing by Kukushkin.

TSN3 is the place to be for Nadal - Kyrgios.

Nadal takes the first set as Nick was trying to get all the alcohol out of his system from his pub visit last night, but Kyrgios is currently up a break in set 2.

An underhand serve draws an error from Rafa and boos from the gallery. It does win the game for Nick however.

Why are they booing winning points lol. He's not cheating and it's not even classless or unsportsmanlike.

You know the answer, Senator, they feel it's disrespectful to his opponent. I think the booing would be even louder if he did it against Roger.

Which is pointless, this is slightly worse than usual for Nadal, but you know what you expect when you play him.

I think Nick's complaint is that the server dictates the pace of play and that the returner needs to be ready to receive serve. It's tough to argue against Nick's point as it is valid (of course there are exceptions if there is excessive crowd noise or some other kind of disturbance).

If Nadal doesn't respond quickly this match could certainly snowball in favour of Kyrgios. With all the dramatics and shot making this is certainly grade A entertainment.

Yeah he's definitely right, but the umping isn't going to change anytime soon. It's not fair that someone who works quick needs to stop their motion because Rafa needs to pick his ass or waddle around for an extra 10 seconds.

And now the tennis is matching the grade A entertainment (that was an incredible get by Rafa of the Kyrgios lob volley, but he couldn't follow it up).
