Watched seaspiracy tonight.

Raised some interesting questions. I always find it funny when everyone is all worrying about straws and the ocean. When fishing is such a terrible industry for the planet. I never eat a lot of fish so likely will continue not eating a lot.

Finally got around to watching Another Round, the Danish movie with Mads Mikkelsen about drinking, mid life crisis, friendship.

What a fantastic film. Can’t say enough good things about it. I see it’s up for a couple of Oscars, best international film and best Director.

Battleship is on TV right now.

God damn if there's a better movie about aliens and navy ships with a weird cast and kind of named after a board game, then I'm a monkeys uncle.

Saw most of the Oscar noms from this year, and Sound of Metal is easily the strongest candidate for best picture for me. What an incredible film. Riz Ahmed is great.

I needed some lowbrow humor and watched Dodgeball again.

I still find it a funny movie.

Dodgeball is a classic. There’s a few movies from that era that I think are pretty forgotten but are comedy classics. Dodgeball, Starsky and Hutch, Wedding Crashers, etc. No sequels or whatever. Just great one offs.

The record store west of 14th on 17th is Melodiya Records. They’re attached to the Phoenix Comics store and still there.

But you could be thinking of Tramps as well.

The slavery within the industry, was pretty eye-opening. Quite a good doc.

watched pikachu detective last night.

My wife used to be a big pokemon fan, and she loved the movie.

I never was into pokemon, and give the movie a "meh"

it was ok. I didn't hate watching the whole thing.

I watched American Pop by Ralph Bakshi and thought it was great. Never seen one of his films before so didn't know what to expect but I really dig it. Great story told with an amazing sound track.

Better or worse than Anne Heche and Harrison Ford in Six Days, Seven Nights?

'Medicine Man' is a wonderfully shot flick that just doesn't seem to come together story wise. If you haven't seen it for the simple fact that Sean Connery is in it, it should be watched just to appreciate the on location visuals of the rain forest.

Three Thumbs Up!

Spoiler!
