I have no direct source with the team but I am friends with some former Flames players. Former players talk to current players and it from what I have heard Coleman was healthy enough to come back a while ago but the Flames ask has been met so they held him out. The other team accrues cap space daily in the NHL so it makes more sense to wait considering they weren't going to be playing any games anyway. Him and his family also were said to have had a lot of emotional goodbye's around town as they left for their Texas home before the break. I doubt his family even comes back before the deadline.
I would be suprised if Coleman plays another game with the Flames

Thank you for your contribution, and to all others that have history breaking news, whether your allegiances are with the other side of the iron curtain or not. It's much more fun dissecting the transaction than it is the creditbility, especially when the provider has established history.
I think you are right though, once the break is done, we will see a flurry of action.
