Meanwhile, Djoker is poised to deliver an English bagel to Fucsovics.

Edit: Novak was up 5-love, now it's 5-3

Can we re-start the second set? Silent K races out to a 3-zip lead.

Edit: This set is effectively done and dusted

Canadian Bagel on deck (works way better if it's Felix cause then its a Montreal Bagel)

All square at 1 set apiece. The good news is that Denis started to wake up a little after dropping the first four games of set 2.

Missed the first two sets... is it good Kachanov or bad Denis that led to that second set?

A little from column A and a little from column B, but it was more bad Denis.

Surprising given how well he seems to be serving now.

Huge missed opportunity. Denis looked pretty sketchy in his last service game, he's always about a 1 minute lapse from gifting a set to his opponent and that seems the case here... just hoping he can hold it together. This is definitely "good Khachanov".

Denis has been knocking on the door of a break the last couple of games, a break here would not only give him set 3, but he would also be serving to open set 4.

Edit: No bueno. 5-5 and we play on.

Yeah, he's definitely playing better on Khachanov's serve, but he's playing worse on his own. Much less stable, as he's showing in this game. Here's hoping he can gut another one out... second time he's been down 0-30 in this set.

Yep, there it is. Missed another golden opportunity at 40-30. This is the problem with Dennis. He can blow an opponent off the court, but if his opponent is playing well enough to just hang in with him, Denis will eventually open the door. Gah. Hope he can break back somehow but Khachanov is just so solid...

Sloppy footwork on the Shapo forehand today, he's hitting off the back foot on several occasions.

Denis had 4 opportunities in that set to get the advantage and went 0 for 4. Khachanov went 1 for 1. That's the match, probably.

One thing is we know Khachanov gets nervous, let's hope they creep in this next set.

It's never a good time to drop three straight games, but especially bad when you're up 5-4 in a set.

Shapo has some great moves, but mentally seems to crack on the big points, with huge misses deep or wide.

He's young, so some maturity will take time, but has a bright future

This is the best I have even seen Khachanov play. Denis has to pull out all the stops to win a point.

Denis had a bit of a sulky first service game in this set, but then got himself fired up on Khachanov's serve with some fist pumps and a good rally win. Didn't threaten to break but looks much more on top of it now than he did in the second half of the third set.

I really want a fifth set of this.

Looks like the nerve fairy paid Khachanov a visit
